President Ilham Aliyev issued an executive order on appointment of first deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov member of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Economic Council.
Under the order, Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry is charged with sending a notification to the CIS Executive Committee on this appointment.
Abbas Abbasov represented Azerbaijan in the Economic Council before, APA reports.
