With 13 votes for and 5 against the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations has put an end to sharp dispute over Richard Hogland's candidacy as new US ambassador to Armenia.
Five senators who voted against Hogland's appointment were Paul Sarbanes, Norm Coleman, Christopher Dodd, John Cary, Barbara Boxer who old supporters of recognition of the Armenian "genocide" by the USA. /www.armeniadiaspora.com/
