As APA reports, the protocol was signed at Elmar Mammadyarov's meeting with Peru ambassador to Azerbaijan Umberto Umers. Prospects of expansion of consultations and cooperation within UNO were discussed at the meeting.

The Ambassador said that they support territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, want the conflict to be solved within international legal norms and principles and Peru also experienced ethnic cleansing like Azerbaijan.
