Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister Ms. Akino Yamanaka held press conference on the visit in Azerbaijan.
Giving a briefing following the meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Ms.Yamanaka said her visit aimed at giving impetus to the development of bilateral relations. The Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister had talks with Prime Minister Arthur Rasizadeh, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, President's Office International relations department head Novruz Mammadov in Baku. She stressed in these talks that the reforms carried out in Azerbaijan will serve development of the country. Ms.Yamanaka today also met with students of the Japanese language faculty of the Baku State University. She said Azerbaijan is training specialists pointing out importance of Azerbaijan's stability and development for the entire Caucasus. The Deputy Minister also underlined that Japan will do it's utmost to assist this development and noted preparations are being held for the next Japan-Azerbaijan business forum, APA reports.
