In an interview to Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said no compromise is possible concerning the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Occupation forces should leave the lands they occupied, and Azerbaijani refugees and IDPS must return to these territories, AzerTAg reports.

Speaking of the future status of Nagorno Karabakh, the Head of State said that the opinion of the Azerbaijani and Armenian communities might be taken into consideration since both Armenians and Azerbaijanis resided in Nagorno Karabakh before the war. The condition is the return of Azerbaijanis to Nagorno Karabakh.

According to the President, they have to return and be settled there, as Nagorno Karabakh is the integral part of Azerbaijan.
