Thailand's Foreign Minister Kantathi Suphamongkhon opened an honorary consulate general in Azerbaijan on Tuesday.
He was joined by the honorary consul, Suad Fataliyev, who on Monday arranged a meeting between Mr Kantathi and Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev. "President Aliyev is interested in Thailand and is considering opening an embassy in Bangkok. Thailand could be a gateway for this promising country with over 30% GDP growth," Mr Kantathi said. /www.bangkokpost.com/
