Our organization has been set up to jointly coordinate the activities of opposition youth organizations, play an active part in democratic processes and tackle problems facing young people," Said Nuriyev, deputy chairman of the Yeni Fikir youth movement, told Interfax-Azerbaijan.

Nuriyev, who was elected the Azerbaijani Youth Platform's secretary, has promised to invite diplomats and members of youth organizations to a presentation of the new organization's program.

"This program is being drawn up now. I expect otheryouth organizations to join us soon," he said.
