Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia sent a note to Russian Foreign Ministry due to the fact that Nagorno Garabagh was shown as territory of Armenia at Inter RAO EES website.
According to APA, the note reads publication of information questioning territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is unacceptable.
The Embassy requested the Russian Foreign Ministry to focus on correction of the error made by INTER RAO EES Company and not to allow publication of such false information in future. In the website of Inter RAO EES company about the Southern Caucasus countries, territories of the Nagorno Garabagh and Nakhchivan AR aren't shown as Azerbaijani territories, at the same time, Azerbaijani city Shusha is shown as "Shushi" and Lachin as "Kashatag".
Further this page was absolutely taken away from the site. Meanwhile, INTER RAO Company decided to end the collaboration with the same painter and to entrust the preparing of the site to the specialists.
The names of Shushi and Kashatag were corrected to Shusha and Lachin. The corrected information says that Nagorno Karabakh is a conflict zone between Armenia and Azerbaijan from 1988. Though the mistake was corrected Azerenergy is going to express its objection to Russian colleagues about this issue in order to prevent such mistakes.
