Leader of the Karabakh Liberation Organization (KLO) Akif Naghi addressed a letter to Budapest City Court.

According to APA, a letter in English has been sent to Budapest city court and Hungarian mass media.

"We have stated many times that Azerbaijani Army officer Ramil Safarov, who faces charge of murdering Armenian officer in Budapest, had a severe shock by the bloody events committed by Armenian armed forces, and committed murder as a result of this profound shock and Armenian officers' provocations," Mr.Naghi wrote in the letter.

"Armenia is trying to influence Ramil Safarov trial by all means. Tigran Urikhanyan, leader of Progress Party, which is close to Armenian authorities, has made a shameful suggestion recently by promising a prize in the amount of $125 thousand to the person who will kill Ramil Safarov. This proves that Armenian authorities support terrorism. The Armenian authorities are even attempting to kill Safarov in Budapest prison. Therefore, we ask you to implement measures to ensure Safarov's security. You witness that as a nation, we suffer from a terrorist state. This even makes clear causes and motivation of Safarov." Naghi wrote.

The KLO expressed hope that the judge and court members will take these facts into consideration and make fair decision on Ramil Safarov.
