Under the NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) Chief of Azerbaijan State Frontier Service, Lieutenant-General Elchin Quliyev visited Belgium capital of Brussels, February 1-3, spokesman of the Azerbaijan office in NATO headquarters said.

During his visit, Elchin Quliyev attended the NATO Political-Military Steering Committee's (PMSC) session at which made remarks on Azerbaijan-NATO frontier service partnership, AzerTAg informs.

He held discussions with John Colston and Munita Russo, Assistants of the NATO Secretary General, and Secretary General's special representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia Robert Simons on the frontier security issues under the IPAP.

Elchin Quliyev also held talks with Chief of General Staff of Belgium, Lieutenant-General August Van Daele, Director of the European Commission's Europe Aid Cooperation Office (European Neighborhood Policy) Richard Weber, and Head of Regional Office of the International Organization for Migration Peter Von Behtlemfalvy.
