17 January 2006 [06:13] - Today.Az
European countries offer imposing of economic sanctions on Iran for its conducting nuclear researches.

Commenting on this issue, Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Afshar Suleymani told that, imposing an embargo would be very silly step: ”Other countries take interests in Iran, a number of states depend on Iran. Iran produces everything. It imports products in the cost of $30bn every year and Iran is able to develop without them”, APA informs.

Saying of embargo not to be new for his country, the ambassador reminded that it’s a good test for any country:”The country which passes this test becomes more powerful”.
