6 opposition-minded parliamentarians established a fraction today.

Head of Whole Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan Gudrat Hasanguliyev told APA that the first sitting of the fraction was held. Head of the fraction was elected for the next one month in the sitting. Sabir Rustamkhanli, Fazil Gazanfaroglu, Aynur Jamalgizi, Igbal Agazade, Asim Mollazade and Gudrat Hasanguliyev are represented in the fraction.

The chairmanship to the fraction will be determined by rotation of the surnames of deputies by alphabetic order and every deputy will chair the fraction for a month. Igbal Agazade was elected as first chair of the fraction.

According to G.Hasanguliyev, the deputies represented in the fraction will express the opposition-minded parliamentarians’ opinions and when any member of the fraction has not opportunity to make speech in the parliament sitting the other member will express general opinion there. In addition, the opposition-minded parliamentarians determined to achieve in establishing Karabakh commission as the first step.

Head of Umid Party Igbal Agazade told APA that, talks are held with other parliament members and several non-party deputies are expected to join the fraction.

The deputies stated that Ali Mansimov and Sabir Hajiyev are not going to join the fraction. Sabir Hajiyev said that this issue is discussed in the party and he cannot make decision on this by himself. Ali Mansimov said that 25 deputies are needed to form a fraction. According to him, the current number of the deputies is not enough for forming a fraction.
