The Constitutional Court (CC) will announce its decision concerning the results of the Parliamentary Elections on December 10.

The CC chairman Farhad Abdullayev said that if there are many complaints, the period of reviewing those complaints can be prolonged. According to the law, the Central Election Commission must complete investigation on complaints and present the results to CC in 20 days.

The CC, in its turn, must make a decision on those results in 10 days. F.Abdullayev informed that the decision concerning the results of the elections will be given only after the documents are completely reviewed. "The Constitutional Court can consider the results of the elections partially or completely invalid in the frame of its authorities. It is not proper to say something about what the results will be and when they will be announced because we did not receive any documents at present," said Abdullayev.

The CC chairman also expressed his attitude to courts’ not reviewing complaints of prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment and being kept in the Gobustan closed prison: "Courts did not review complaints of those persons. The Chamber of the Constitutional Court gave a recommendation on solution of these issues in legal form. We have issued the decision in this connection. According to the information I have, complaints of prisoners are already being reviewed in the Garadagh region court".
