On 1 August the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, started his first working visit to Washington at the invitation of U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice.
During the visit to last by 5 August the FM will hold meetings at the White House, Pentagon and U.S. non-governmental organizations. (Trend)
The talks will focus on wide specter of issues concerning bilateral and economic cooperation, further interaction in the international organizations and in particular, the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
