All conditions for fair elections have been established in the country, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated on Monday in a meeting with the residents of Krasnaya Slobada settlement of Guba District.
«My key task is the formation of a free society and fighting corruption in the country,” the head of state stressed. Noting the importance for ensuring the stability in the country Aliyev underlined that the Azerbaijani government was the guarantee for the stability in the country.
Touching upon the statement on possibilities for staging of pubic disorder by the opposition during the forthcoming parliamentary elections on 6 November, the Azerbaijani President said that such actions took place in October 2003.
«During the previous elections some attempts were taken in Azerbaijan to break the order, while they were decisively prevented. The reply measures by the Azerbaijani government for new attempts will be the same,» Aliyev underlined.
