The official visit to Azerbaijan of the delegation led by the prime-minister of Georgia Zurab Nogaydeli started yesterday.
The head of the Trade Chamber of Georgia Jemal Inaishvili and businessmen of this country are included in the delegation. It is intended that the prime-minister will hold several meetings in the frame of the visit to last two days.
According to the information given to APA from the embassy of Georgia in Azerbaijan, the delegation started the meetings from Ganja yesterday. The guests are taking part in a business-forum held in Ganja for the purpose of extending economic relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia. Then the delegation will arrive in Baku.
The prime-minister of Georgia will join the business-forum to be held in Baku today. Then the delegation will participate in an exhibition to be organized in the Baku Business Center. Products of different kind including drinks produced by 20 companies of Georgia will be demonstrated in the exhibition. A meeting of the Azerbaijan Georgia Economic Council will be held with the participation of the guests in the frame of the visit.
The delegation will meet with the officials of Azerbaijan on July 19. Z.Nogaydeli will meet with his Azerbaijani colleague Artur Rasizade and the agriculture minister Ismat Abbasov. It is intended at the end of the visit that the president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will receive the delegation.
