Washington Life Magazine has posted an article praising the activities of Azerbaijan`s first lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva.
The article lauds what the first lady is doing to ensure the protection of women`s rights and promote interfaith dialogue and tolerance in Azerbaijan.
The article also features interviews with members of the Washington-based Muslim Women's Association, who highlight the state of women`s rights and religious tolerance in Muslim countries.
In her interview, spouse of the Azerbaijani Ambassador to the US Lala Abdurrahimova hails Mehriban Aliyeva’s contribution to strengthening the protection of women`s rights and promoting inter-faith dialogue and tolerance in the country.
