Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Poland has held a series of events on the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis. Addressing an event held in the Saska K?pa Cultural Centre, ambassador Hasan Hasanov spoke of national leader Heydar Aliyev`s contributions to creation of Azerbaijani Diaspora, as well as reforms carried out in the country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Culture Centre Society Shahla Kazimova highlighted the projects implemented by her organization. The event participants were presented books and other materials published by the Embassy of Azerbaijan. They also watched a documentary on Azerbaijan.
Another event to mark Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis was held in the Baltic Education Centre Oswiata—Lingwista co-organized by Embassy and Azerbaijan-Poland Cultural Society.
Speaking at the event Hasan Hasanov briefed the participants on the history of Azerbaijan-Poland relations. The ambassador has presented books to the library of the centre.
The Diplomat has also met Andrzej Chodubski, author of series articles dedicated to relationship between Azerbaijan and Polish.
Andrzej Chodubski was presented an award on the 540th anniversary of establishment and 20th jubilee of restoration of Azerbaijan-Poland diplomatic ties.
