Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov met newly appointed Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun.
Talibov noted the relationship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkey have great history. He praised the Azerbaijan-Turkey relations, saying they were close and strongly both within international and regional organizations.
Talibov expressed confidence the bilateral relations would continue to strengthen.
Coskun said confidence between the two countries made a great contribution to expanding the relations, adding Nakhchivan plays key role in this process.
Turkey`s Consul General in Nakhchivan Cenk Unal was present at the meeting.
