Founder and president of the Crans Montana Forum, ambassador Jean-Paul Carteron has praised Azerbaijan`s role in international cooperation.
“Azerbaijan will play a growing role in international cooperation. The country has become the center of the ‘South-South cooperation’ in a short period of time,” Carteron told an AzerTAc correspondent in an exclusive interview.
Carteron said Azerbaijan became one of the countries shaping the future of the world. He noted southern countries could build such a cooperation that would allow them to ensure maximum development.
“And Azerbaijan plays key role here,” said Crans Montana Forum`s founder, adding: “This is confirmed in the face of President Ilham Aliyev.”
“And the Azerbaijani President`s speech at the opening of the Crans Montana Forum confirmed this. Unlike many leaders, President Ilham Aliyev skillfully highlighted the current situation. The President of Azerbaijan is a very skilled leader. This is not a compliment, this is the truth,” Carteron added.
He said: “What President Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva have been doing for Azerbaijan, and achievements resulting from this allow us to say that the country`s role in international cooperation will continue growing.”
