The European Parliament's joining the intensive anti-Azerbaijani campaign conducted by "Human Rights Watch" and "Amnesty International", causes regret and surprise, "Ana Vatan" party said today.

"Slanderous activity against our country continues through the anti-Azerbaijani campaigns financed and organized by Armenian lobby," a statement said. "The forces hostile to Azerbaijan are more and more concerned about Azerbaijan's strengthening, the success of our independent foreign policy serving the state and national interests of the country. Their attacks on our country become more intense."

The anti-Azerbaijani resolution based on slanderous documents of several NGOs and political forces financed by Armenian lobby is a great spot on the image of the European Parliament, and a heavy blow to the relations between Azerbaijan and the organization, a statement said.

"Ana Vatan" party strongly condemns these slanderous resolutions and urges the European Parliament to refuse from this resolution.
