The State Border Service (SBS) of Azerbaijan has commented on
information spread in recent days in the media about the cluster of
Iranian warships near the maritime borders of Azerbaijan and the conduct
of manoeuvres.
In recent days a number of stories appeared from the mass media
disseminating information about the cluster of Iranian warships at the
maritime borders of Azerbaijan and the conduct of manoeuvres. This
information has no basis and is provocative, the SBS told Trend on
Friday.
Protection of the maritime borders between Azerbaijan and Iran is
being conducted normally and there are no changes in service and
operational conditions, the SBS said.
