President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today signed an executive order on extra measures to speed up the social and economic development of the country`s Absheron region.
Under the presidential order, AZN 4 million will be allocated for the construction of the Saray-Novkhani-Mehdiabad-Fatmayi-Goradil highway from the President`s Reserve Fund for 2012.
The highway links 5 settlements with the total population of 73,000 people.
