The fight against international terrorism is a major activity of the National Security Ministry in Azerbaijan. "And in January, a group that cooperated with foreign intelligence agencies and was preparing terrorist attacks against foreign nationals in Baku was neutralized," Shafiyev said.

The deputy minister, referring to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, expansionist and aggressive policy of Armenia, Armenian separatism and terrorism, said that tens of thousands of books, articles and scientific papers, including those by the well-known scientists on these issues were translated into many languages, printed and distributed in foreign countries. This work is carried out continuously in cooperation with other agencies, he said.
