The Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) discussed the French Senate`s bill criminalizing the denial of so-called Armenian genocide in its seventh conference in Palembang, Indonesia. The discussion of the relevant issue was initiated by the Azerbaijani and Turkish delegation. The final declaration of the conference included an item estimating the law as “illegal”.
