The PACE Monitoring Committee co-rapporteurs on Azerbaijan will pay a visit to Baku from January 30 to February 3, co-rapporteur of the committee on Azerbaijan Pedro Agramunt told Trend today.
"We will visit Azerbaijan together with other co-rapporteur Joseph Debono Grech from January 30 to February 3," he said. The purpose of the visit is to discuss the relations with the Council of Europe, Azerbaijan's commitments to the organization and other issues."
Agramunt said that the meetings are planned to be held with the Azerbaijani President, Chairman of the Parliament, chairman of the Supreme Court, Ombudsman, Minister of Justice, the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, representatives of political parties, NGOs and media.
"We will visit Guba on Feb. 2," he said. "At present, the report associated with Azerbaijan, is not prepared. Perhaps, the preparation of the report related to Azerbaijan will be considered in June 2012. But I can not say anything definite in this regards."
