Syrian economic magazine Al –Mal has praised Azerbaijan`s achievements in an article titled Azerbaijan – an emerging economic giant with optimistic indicators. The article praises Azerbaijan`s “good-neighborhood policy”.
On the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the magazine says Azerbaijan is making selfless attempts to find a peaceful solution to the dispute. The magazine stresses Azerbaijan has already ensured its political and economic stability, saying the country`s Gross Domestic Product and State Budget have been growing on a yearly basis.
The article hails the government`s efforts to strengthen the population`s social security. The magazine also highlights various aspects of the Azerbaijan-Syria relations. It touches upon the Syrian President`s 2009 Baku visit, noting the importance of bilateral documents signed by the two countries.
