The History Museum hosted exhibition of the
Norwegian ethnographer Thor Heyerdahl, whose adventures have been added to
UNESCO’s “Memory of The World” Register. He had paid 4 visits to Azerbaijan, has
precious works about the country and he had said: “Azerbaijanis should be proud
of their ancient culture. It is just as rich and ancient as that of China and Mesopotamia.”
State Opera and Ballet Theatre premiered the well-known opera of Mozart
"Cosi fan tutte, ossia La scuola degli amanti”. This "cheerful
drama" in two acts was both beautiful and funny.
