Two earthquakes measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale took place near the Ahel city in Iranian Fars Province, Iranian MEHR news agency reported on Friday.
According to the Seismological Center at the Tehran University's Geophysics Institute, the first earthquake took place at 08:58 local time. No damage and injured is reported as a result of the earthquake.
