A woman was caught on surveillance video stealing a bedspread, picture frames, trash can and other items from a hotel room last week. Authorities in Florida are trying to identify the woman seen hauling off the materials estimated at $700 at the Sabal Suites in Tampa.
The video shows the woman make several trips down the hallway after she entered a room under renovation and taking objects like an iron with an ironing board, rugs and curtains.
Authorities noticed that a surveillance video showed the woman lugging away heavy items as well as smaller ones in late March.
The woman checks several doors as she walks down the hallway, the tape reveals. After she enters the room under renovation, she begins to take the items away individually.
She can be seen struggling to carry a large television and a full-length picture frame. She appears to carry all of the items through a door that leads to the outside.
The woman also spends some time aimlessly wandering around the hallway. Hillsborough County deputies believe the woman may range in age from 22 to 29. She can be seen wearing a blue tank top and blue shorts. The woman has her long, brown hair tied in a ponytail
She is estimated to be about 125 pounds and five-foot-seven feet tall.
Deputies say they hope the public will be able to help in identifying the woman by watching the video and viewing related images.
