An international photo exhibition titled “Photos of the Year” was organized by the US Embassy in Shaki, Azerbaijan. The employees of the Embassy, representatives from the local community participated in the event.
The exhibition showcased 54 photos depicting world developments as well natural calamity, struggle and victory of people in extreme situations. Addressing the ceremony, the head of US Embassy`s Public Affairs section in Baku Terry Davidson stressed the US Embassy carries out the projects in various fields including the cultural one.
He added this exhibition had been held in the cities of Baku and Ganja. The photo exhibition won the first place in an international contest last year.
