Famous violinist Salim Abbasov gave a concerto at the Kuwait-Azerbaijan music party in Kuwait in the framework of 14th international summer music festival organized by the Kuwait National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, and initiated by the Azerbaijan`s embassy.
According to the Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Kuwait, Salim Abbasov skillfully performed pieces of Azerbaijani and Arab folk music. A concert program won the sympathy of Kuwait music-lovers and received standing ovation. Salim Abbasov was awarded the prize of the 14th international music festival. The event was attended by high-ranking officials of the Culture and Literature National Council, representatives of diplomatic corps accredited to this country, MPs, famous social-political figures, members of the Azerbaijan Diaspora.
The concert program was in the focus of attention of the Kuwait press. The concert was covered by the Kuwait leading TV-channels-1st,2nd,”al-RAI” and ”al-Watan”. Journalists of influential newspapers-“al-RAI”, ”al-Qabas”,” al-Siyasa” participated in the party.
Salim Abbasov was also invited to Kuwait “Ismail TV” channel where he perform some compositions from his program.
