On 2nd of April State Film Fund celebrated 100 jubilee of the national actor of the USSR and Azerbaijan, the winner of state awards Alesker Alekberov.
"Alekberov was one of the first actors of mute and sound Azerbaijan cinema, and still he is named one of the best Othello of USSR for his roles at theatre", - director of State Film Fund, director Jamil Guliyev has told.
Alekberov has played in films such as "Morning", "the House on a volcano", "New horizon", "Rural", "Fatali Khan", "Stepmother", "On distant coast", "the Great support", «Leyli and Mejnun".
