The Independence Day of Azerbaijan will be marked with gala concert. The concert titled "Our Music World" will be held in Heydar Aliyev Palace on October 18.
People's Artists Aftandil Israfilov, Faig Agayev, honored artists Elsa Seyidjakhan, Sevil Sariyeva, Salim Abbasov, Nuriya Huseynova, Rashad Ilyasov, Javanshir Mammadov, Firuza Ibadova, Ilgar Sail, honored art worker Ashug Ahliman, popular singers Gunay Ibrahimli, Emil Badalov, Vugar Abdulov, Alikram Bayramov, Gunay Imamverdiyeva, Rufat Akhundov, Bahar Lyatifgizi and others will delight with their songs.
The event starts at 19.00. Ticket price is 10-30 AZN ( $6-18). Tickets can be purchased at all ticket offices of the city, ASAN Service Centers, Ganjlik Mall Shopping Center and "28 Mall" Shopping Center as well as online at www.iticket.az.

Azerbaijan celebrates Independence Day on October 18.
On October 18, 1991, the Supreme Soviet of Azerbaijan adopted a Constitutional Act on the Declaration of Independence of Azerbaijan. The declaration confirmed by a referendum in December 1991.
In May 1992 Azerbaijani parliament adopted the State Hymn (music by Uzeyir Hajibeyov, words by Ahmed Javad) of the Azerbaijan Republic and soon after it, three colored flag and the state anthem in the form of eight-point star with fire in the centre of it.
Azerbaijan is an independent and a sovereign state since Oct.18, 1991 and people celebrate it as a holiday.
Independence Day is a working day in Azerbaijan.
