Each summer since 2016, people gather in Sea Breeze Recreation Center, to share a universal love of music at International Music Festival " Zhara 2018".

The music festival showcases dozens of talented local and foreign  performers so we can discover fresh new music.

The long-awaited summer event will take place in the Sea Breeze recreation center on July 26-29.

The festival is held for the third time, and every time it pleases with a meeting with favorite artists, amazes the audience with interesting concert programs, incredible duets and musical premieres.

On the threshold of the grandiose event, the organizer of the festival - singer and composer Emin Agalarov (EMIN) met with local journalists and answered the questions of Trend Life correspondent.

As EMIN has told, this year's anniversary of Leonid Agutin, Valery, Vladimir Presnyakov will be celebrated as part of the festival. Moreover, music lovers will also enjoy artistic evenings of Valery Meladze and Lubov Uspenskaya.

In addition, it is planned to hold an artistic evening of Yuri Antonov.

Among the innovations of festival is the film shooting, the pilot title of which "Once Upon in Heat."

"It will be a romantic comedy with the participation of both professional actors and representatives of Russian show business. The film is a ridiculous summer comedy about the events that take place within the framework of the festival. It also has a separate storyline where both Azerbaijani actors and Russian actors will be shot. I think this film project will give us an opportunity to show the beautiful city of Baku and the festival from within," said Emin.

EMIN expressed the hope that if all goes well, the film project will be an annual one, and will be repeated every year with a different storyline. The singer did not disclose the name of the director, only noting that the film director will be a talented lady, who has many successful projects.

EMIN stressed that the festival "ZHARA-2018" is also a television project, broadcasted on the air of the Channel One (Russia).

"Last year's festival with the participation of Alla Pugacheva, Sofia Rotaru and a huge number of artists scored a stunning rating on the First Channel:  out of four festival days we got 11-12 TV shows. Almost immediately after the festival, my partners Sergey Kozhevnikov and Grigory Leps, representatives of the First channel began to discuss which artists and what evenings could be of interest to the channel. In fact, t it took the whole year for preparation of the festival. Our task is to make sure that after four days of "Zhara" fest to get at least 12 broadcasts on the First Channel, 12 different evenings - each of the four festival days will be divided into three big events," the musician added.

Within the framework of the festival, it is planned to organize one evening together with MuzTV - a free concert in Baku with the participation of Russian stars.

The singer also revealed the financial details of the music project, adding that the project is big and expensive.

"As for the business, the music channel has already been formed on the basis of Zhara brand. Yesterday we launched "Zhara" Radio station on the wave of the Russian FM band, we launched a music label. When the festival was created, I did not expect that I would be engaged in television, radio, music premium ... There are a lot of ideas...," he said.

EMIN is proud of being an Azerbaijani. He never hides it, but on the contrary emphasizes.

"I think that the festival that can take place in any country of the world is held directly in the capital of Azerbaijan, because I am from Baku, and I really wanted to hold it here. I hope that the weather will be good, and the festival will only expand, "he said.

By tradition, the festival will please music lovers with hits beloved by millions of listeners, as well as new songs, interesting duets and musical premieres.

"I recorded two tracks under the name" Azerbaijan ", one of them will open the festival, it will be performed by our and Russian artists. Another song, premiered on May 28, was written by Brandon Stone, I even sang a little in Azerbaijani. It's called "Let's run away to Baku" - part 2," the artist shared his creative plans.

Speaking about creativity, EMIN also told about the tour of "Boomerang-2018".

"I'm charged with energy, it's a great happiness when thousands of people come to every city. I think if the music connected with its listener, it would not be silly to tour. I'm happy that I have the opportunity to tour, I get a tremendous pleasure from this, despite the fact that this is a great job".

EMIN stressed that it is possible that the character José Mammadov (charted created by the artist) will appear at the festival.

"I have an idea that Jose can be back, and make some funny story, maybe there will be a second part involving the loser Jose," the artist said.

It was a tradition to hold jubilee evenings of artists on the festival, and when journalists asked if EMIN will celebrate its anniversary on the stage of "FAT", the artist replied that he did not think about it. Notably, the musician turns 40 in 2019.

"I do not know, they say that they do not mark 40th birthday, but we'll see ... Despite the fact that I'm the organizer of "Zhara" festival I'm not the main performing artist here. I'm one of the guests, and in all my projects this is my radio station will function on the same principle, if I do not have a trend song, it will not sound on the radio simply because I'm the owner, "the artist added.
