The fifth season of Azerbaijan Fashion Week, lasting approximately one week, featured the best looks by national and foreign designers.

The audience enjoyed luxurious outfits from Moroccan designer Albert Oiknine within the Week.

The event was organized with the support of the Moroccan Embassy in Baku at Fairmont Baku Hotel, Trend Life reported.

Guests of the  fashion show were also presented collection of local brand Libas Couture, named after the heroine of the novel of Russian writer Leo Tolstoy - Anna Karenina. The outfits have been designed in the style of those years, and the whole concept of the show was about the fate of this strong and at the same time fragile woman.

Azerbaijan Fashion Week was marked with bright fashion shows of Azerbaijan and foreign designers from France, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine.

The runway shows took place in Fairmont Baku Flame Towers, the Stone Chronicle Museum and Icherisheher.

AFW  is held twice a year in November and May. More than 60 designers from Azerbaijan, Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, France and Spain participated in last four seasons.

The main purpose of the Week is to popularize growing fashion industry in Azerbaijan and give an opportunity to young and talented designers to show their work to the world. It's a place that gathers local and international buyers, press and fashion critics together.

The event is open for fashion experts, including buyers of fashion retail chains and shops, representatives of glossy international as well as local publications.
