One of the favorite holidays of Azerbaijanis, New Year is coming with five days off.

The cozy New Year holidays are traditionally homey festive, but it is impossible to sit at home all the holidays long. We have good news for art lovers: BP’s free admission campaign to museums will create a good chance for enjoying your holidays.

BP in cooperation with some organizations including the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, National Art Museum of Azerbaijan, Maiden Tower historical monument, Azerbaijan Carpet Museum and The Complex of Shirvanshah’s Palace will hold a 10-day free admission campaign to the museums during the winter holidays.

Schoolchildren, students, residents and guests of Baku are invited to visit the museums on December 27-January 5.

Some guided tours are also provided during the open doors day.

Art Museum will not work on 1 January. On the other days, tours will be held here at 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:30, 16:30.

History Museum will not work on December 28 and 31 December, January 1, 2 and 4. On the other days, tours are starting in the museum at 10:00 and at 14:00.

Complex of Shirvanshah’s Palace will not work on January 1. On the other days, tours will be made each hour, between 10:00 and 18:00.

Maiden Tower will not work on January 1. On the other days tours are hold at the beginning of every hour, between 10:00 and 19:00.

Azerbaijan Carpet Museum will not work on December 31 and January 1. On the other days tours start at each hour.

BP has already sponsored three free museum admission campaigns in Azerbaijan since December 2013 during which about 45,000 visitors have made a tour of museums.
