An exhibition entitled “Azerbaijan, phoenix of the Orient. Polish traces” co-organized by Azerbaijan Embassy in Poland and Swidnik Culture Center and dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between the two countries opened in Swidnik, Poland.
According to Azerbaijan Embassy in Poland, the exhibition demonstrated photos of Azerbaijani must-see-places by Diana Cizevskaya and buildings constructed by Polish architects in Baku. Diana Cizevska is one of the 10 Polish students, who visited Azerbaijan as a winner of the competition “What do I know about Azerbaijan”.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijani ambassador to Poland Hasan Hasanov updated participants on the cooperation between the two countries, the role of the Polish people in the Azerbaijani history and progress achieved in the past 20 years.
As part of his visit, Hasan Hasanov held meetings with Swidnik mayor Waldemar Jakson and director of the Culture Center Adam Jurek. Azerbaijani ambassador and Adam Jurek discussed the establishment of local children dance ensemble “Cucelerim” (“My chickens”).
