Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers issued a decree to regulate monthly official (tariff) salaries of the state employees specified in a single tariff scale.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a number of orders to increase the wages of workers in social security institutions, agriculture, land reclamation and water management, environment, fishery and hydrometeorology, academic and research institutions (excluding subordinated to the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences), healthcare and educational institutions (except universities), institutions of culture, youth and sports in December.
Monthly official (tariff) salaries of these institutions financed from the state budget increased by 10 percent under the decree, from Dec.1, 2011.
The single tariff scale of the institutions financed from the state budget ( excluding the scientific and research institutions subordinated to the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences).
