Azerbaijan’s import-export operations with 147 foreign countries during January-September, totaled $29.8 billion, including exports in amount of $22.2 bln or 74.4% and imports - $7.6 bln or 25.6%, the State Statistical Committee reporte. Consequently, foreign trade balance made $12.8 bln
Some $ 4.6 bln or 15.6% of commodity exchange was conducted with CIS countries, $ 25.2 bln or 84.4%– with other countries. Azerbaijan’s export to the CIS countries made up 11.6% t and other foreign countries - 88.4%. The foreign trade turnover rose by 9%, as well as import increased by 46%, export declined by 3.7%.
