The American company forecasts a 30% growth in the market of information security in Azerbaijan for 2012. Thomas Vendrih, Lumension director for Eastern Europe & Scandinavia, informs that in 2010 the market growth of Lumension`s products in the Azerbaijani market was 200%.
"This year, the market growth was not observed for unknown reasons, but we have managed to maintain stability. In 2012, we expect growth in the use of our information security products by 25-30%. The specific feature of the information security market is in the need for timely updating of systems. Large companies must ensure the availability of the system of automatic updating and downloading patches," he noted.
According to Vendrih, one of the Lumension`s largest customers is the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA), which installed solution Lumension Device Control, providing control and management of all I/O devices across all ports, including USB, Firewire, WIFI, Bluetooth, etc. The solution enables to prevent the threat of data leakage or loss, warns of malware hit from removable media and more.
The Company has been operating in the local IT market for the last 5 years in collaboration with company Headtechnology, which successfully represents Lumension`s interests in Azerbaijan.
