Until 2025, SOCAR intends to invest $15bln in Turkey, head of SOCAR Investments Department Vagif Aliyev said, Turkish media reports.
It is considered to construct petrochemical complex in the peninsula where Petkim petrochemical company is located. He noted that power plant, wind energy facilities and port would be built here. Aliyev added the amount of investments would reach $15bln in 2025.
Moreover, Azerbaijani side intends to purchase gas networks in Turkey. Reminding transportation of gas from Azerbaijan to Turkey, Aliyev said that Azerbaijani side intends to sell this gas here itself: “”Within the framework of this plan, we plan to enter gas distributing networks sphere in Turkey, it will be great advantage for us to have a place in this sphere.
