Azerbaijani mobile operator - Azercell - appealed to the Communications and IT Ministry with a proposal to introduce the fourth generation (4G) services, TeliaSonera Eurasia Vice President and General Director Halim Ates told journalists yesterday.
Ates said introducing 4G standard will enable to carry out more efficient tariff policy and reduce cost of data services.Number of users of 3G-services in Azercell network has already reached 200,000, he said.Previously, mobile operator Bakcell appealed to the ministry to introduce 4G.
