Today, an international conference on “European perspectives of Caspian Energy” has kicked of in Baku.
The event was organized by Strategic Researches Centre under the President of Azerbaijan, French International Relations Institute and SOCAR and aims to pay attention to the development of Europe-Caspian Sea Energy Projects and analyze the position of Azerbaijan in the region.
Energy supply of South-Eastern European region, role of Azerbaijan in energy safety of Europe, influences of dissolved conflicts on global security, modern geopolicy of Caspian-South Caucasus region, regional cooperation issues, involving of new investments to the country, strengthening of business cooperation were discuss ed at the conference.
Dominique David, a Executive Vice-President of IFRI, William Ramsay, a Senior Adviser of the Center for Energy at IFRI, Dr. Gul Luft, CEO&President of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security and others attended the event.
