Cisco has focused on promoting networking technologies of the "new generation" in Azerbaijan, the company said.
At a CiscoDay technical workshop held in Baku, the company introduced its revolutionary solution for business-critical data centers -- DataCenter 3.0.
The development’s peculiarity lies in its assuming the first step towards the realization of unified networking.
The design of the new generation DataCenter 3.0 represents a movement from a centralized physical infrastructure (hardware devices, power supply units, cooling systems, etc.) to a closely integrated virtualized environment. The hardware design connects local area networks with storage networks, offering customers a comprehensive strategy for a system-level data center.
The company also hopes to promote their platforms for the deployment of digital broadcasting services in DVB-T standard.
At the technical workshop, Cisco specialists demonstrated Cisco Secure Borderless Network hardware, strengthening information security for companies in four critical spheres: at the level of corporate edge-devices (mobile and fixed), the Internet and data centers.
