Italy is interested in diversification of trade relations with Azerbaijan, said Italian ambassador Mario Baldi. According to the diplomat, energy recourses make 90% of the trade between the two countries.
“Italy intends to cooperate with Azerbaijan in machine-building, agricultural, manufacturing spheres,” he added.
Baldi praised bilateral energy cooperation, but he also regretted that “there is not a pipeline between Azerbaijan and Italy to transport energy recourses”.
