In January-August of 2008 Azerbaijan's GDP made AZN 25.9 bln, which is 13.2% higher, as compared to the same period of the last year.
Day.Az reports with reference to the State Statistical Commission that the main part of added value - 75% - was in producing sector, 17.9% in the sphere of services, 7.1% net taxes on production and import.
The GDP structure is as follows:
- Production - AZN 19,408,600,000 (14% rise, as compared to the previous year),
including:
industry - AZN 16,187,500,000 (11.7%) agriculture, hunting and forestry - AZN 1,413,600,000 (8.5%) construction - AZN 1,807,500,000 (38%) - production of services - AZN 4,646,200,000 ( 9.9%) including: transport - AZN 1,171,300,000 (9.3%) postal services and communication - AZN 417,500,000 (31.7%) retail and wholesale trade, repair of cars, household goods and personal objects - AZN 1,270,800,000 (14.8%) hotel and catering services - AZN 217,200,000 (34.1%) social and other services - AZN 1,569,400,000 (1%) Net taxes on production and import - AZN 1,837,100,000 (14.4%).
Deflater is AZN 127,800,000.
Per capita GDP made AZN 3,031.5 ($3,661.6), which is 11.9% rise.
