Index of consumer prices on Azerbaijan has risen by 1.43% on Azerbaijan, by 1.71% on Baku and by 1.08% on country's regions.
According to Novosti Azerbaijan, the researches on different groups of goods showed that the inflation rate on nonfood goods made 1.92% and on production group 1.28%.
The sphere of services has risen in price by 1.23%.
Through five months of 2008 index of consumer prices in Azerbaijan made 14.65%. Inflation this May made 28.45% as compared to the previous year.
Statistic researches showed the highest rise in prices in May of 2008, on nonfood group of goods, on summer female gowns by 27.07%.
Sport suits have risen in price by 19.89%. Inflation on tables and chairs equaled 10.4%. Among products-eggs have risen in price by 15.13%, poultry by 8.54%, sour milk by 5.33%, sugar by 5%.
Statistics in the sphere of services shows that laundry has risen in price by 10.6%, tours on city and international tours by 10.5%.
According to the center, among the regions of the country the prices rose most on goods and services in Quba (3%), the inflation was the lowest in Mingechevir -0.87%.
