Azerbaijan will start repaying electricity imported from Iran on April 20, said Marlen Asgarov, Vice-President of Azerenerji.
According to him, Azerbaijan owes 255 million kilowatts of electricity to Iran.
“We plan to “repay” the debt at a rate of 1.5 million kilowatts per day,” he noted.
The debt will be fully repaid within 6 months.
