Azerbaijan took the second place among the CIS countries by industrial growth rates by results of January 2008.
Day.Az reports with reference to the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee, that Belarus became the leader for industrial growth rates in the CIS in January of this year (12.1%), followed by Azerbaijan (11.3%) and Kyrgyzstan (6.6%).
Industrial production in Ukraine has risen by 5.7%, in Moldova by 4.4%, in Kazakhstan by 2.6%. Decline in industrial production has been recorded in Tajikistan (16.1%) and Armenia (0.1%).
